Winter/Spring time Fishing TIP

The weather is changing and somtimes Bass fishing can be GREAT or tough this time of year.  We have all had those days when we are fishin and just catching them like crazy.  Then we go back the next day or two and can't even buy a bite. Where did they go is what we always ask?  But more important we should ask what should I do different??  Those fish didn't leave the lake and go hide.  They are still in the general area.  Maybe the wind has shifted or the lake has come up or even went down.  There are a hundred things that could have changed.  We as anglers need to not abandon the whole area.  Fish live by instinct and we try to "reason" were they are or what they are doing.  We over anaylze the situation daily  Think back to all those times when you had good limits, were you doing something "miraclous" or hard, doubtful.  You had a bait similar to what they were eating and was in the right area at the right time.   A famous fishermen once told me its all timing and left it at that.  It has taken me almost 10 yrs to understand that.  Dont let it take you that long!!   Don't reason yourself away from were the fish are.
